On Sept. 28, 2018, the Prequalification Meeting of the International Consultation on the Urban Design of Shenzhen Railway Station and Luohu Port Area co-organized by the People's Government of Luohu District, Shenzhen and Urban Planning, Land & Resources Commission of Shenzhen Municipality, was held in Luohu District, Shenzhen. The jury panel of prequalification was constituted by seven experts from areas of urban planning & design, architectural design and transportation etc. The jury panel read and carried out discussion and evaluation on all the application documents submitted by registered design firms. According to the disclosed voting result, six invited design firms (including consortiums, similarly hereinafter) and two alternatives are as follows:
