The Prequalification Meeting of the Design Solicitation for Qingdao Shilaoren Seaside Park, hosted by Laoshan District People’s Government of Qingdao Municipality and organized by the Bureau of Natural Resources of Laoshan District, Qingdao Municipality, was held in Laoshan District, Qingdao City on January 8, 2022. The prequalification committee was constituted by 7 invited experts in areas of landscape architecture, architectural design and urban planning etc. They read and carried out discussion & evaluation on all the registration documents submitted by applicants. According to the disclosed voting result, 5 invited firms to enter the next design stage and two alternatives are as follows:

Alternatives (If any invited design team quits, the alternatives shall replace it in order.)

First Alternative: Consortium: McGregor Coxall Australia Pty Ltd & Shanghai Landscape Architecture Design & Research Institute Co.,Ltd.

Second Alternative: Consortium: GUANGZHOU S.P.I DESIGN Co., LTD & Qingdao Zhonghe Ecological Technology Research Institute Co., Ltd.
