Design & Life is a series of public activities integrating forum, field experience, design and exhibition. To further engage design with daily life, Design & Life strives to work as a platform of communication for designers and citizens through organizing themed activities such as design trip (guided by designers), workshop and dialogue forum. With this platform, citizens could experience and participate in the overall process of design, by which their interest in design may be aroused and their aesthetic judgement may be formed. In return, designers, through communicating with the public, could rethink and improve their designs. Design & Life also aims to encourage wider public participation and provide public education on urban planning and design by gathering the needs of the public, urban administration as well as designers during dialogue forum.
