Summary of the Prequalification Review on the International Schematic Design Competition of the Two Towers

---- CDB Tower and Minsheng Financial Tower

The prequalification meeting of International Conceptual Design Competition of the Two Towers-CDB Tower & Minsheng Financial Tower is held at AM 9:00-12:00, July 6th, 2011 in Room 204, Planning Building. The specialists and related client representatives have comprehensively discussed on the size of the more than 80 firms and its relevant achievements, its design team’s innovation & achievements, their capability and other aspects. After full discussion, five finalists have been namelisted and participate in the next-stage competition.

Important Notice for the site-visit and Q&A meeting:

1、Site visit and Q&A meeting will be held at 14:00, July 18th, 2011 in the Simulation Room 111 of the Planning Building, No. 8009 Hongli Xi Road, Futian District, Shenzhen. All the namelisted firms and volunteers shall summit the Confirmation (see the file attached) with signature and stamp, authorized attorney letter, business certificate (or business registration certificate) and qualification certificate with stamp on each. And the original shall be brought together for inspection.

2、Those who haven’t been namelisted can still participate in the next-stage competition and will be treated equally in the final review.

3、The clients have attached great importance to the Q&A meeting for it’s a chance to have direct communication with the participants. Therefore, every lead designer shall take part in the meeting. And all the participants shall send the name list for the site visit to the organizer’s mailbox: competition@ehow.net.cn, before July 13th, 2011.

4、 Change for the competition schedule:

Site-visit and Q&A meeting: 14:00, July 18th, 2011

Deadline for Q&A: August 21st, 2011

Submission: September 15th, 2011(interim)

Project Review: September 18th, 2011(interim)
