The theme of this Design Forum was public housing. Mr. Ole Bouman, President of the Netherlands Architecture Institute (NAI) introduced the history of residence development in Netherlands and five strategies for successful public housing. After the lecture, there was a round-table discussion on the status quo of indemnificatory housing in China. Liu Heng of the Nansha Original Design (NODE), who was to participate in the exhibition of Housing with A Mission of this year's Biennale, Liu Xiaodu of the URBANUS, He Jianxiang of the O-office Architects, Long Yufeng of Capol, who was experienced in residential design research, as well as Feng Guochuan of Zhubo Design Group were invited to the discussion.
