SUMMARY：

On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the official establishment of diplomatic relations between China and France, and in order to promote exchanges in various fields between Shenzhen and France, to improve the quality of urban public space, and to learn the advanced concepts and practical experience of public space art design, the 20th Shenzhen City/Architecture Design Master' Forum- Art Design For Urban Public Art was held at the Municipal Planning Building in the afternoon of February 25th. The activity was organized by Urban Planning, Land & Resources Commission of Shenzhen Municipality and Mansion Chinoise d'Echanges Culturels (M.C.E.C), co-organized by the Shenzhen Center for Public Art (Shenzhen Center for Design). Mr. Jean-Bernard Métais made a keynote speech on modern urban sculpture and garden design and showed his works worldwide. The forum was hosted by Yao Xianxing, Director of the Department of Architectural Design, and invited Dai Yun, a famous contemporary local artist as the academic host.
