Chris Hardie is a partner and creative director of Schmidt Hammer Lassen Architects, an excellent architect and a design educator. He is currently based in Shanghai. For the past 20 years, Chris has led his creative and design teams working in Europe, Asia and North America, with landmark architectural designs in culture, education, office, and residential. These include the new library at the University of Aberdeen in Scotland, the International Criminal Court in the Hague, the Netherlands, Westminster College in London, and the Halifax Library in Canada. Chris currently leads the team in SHL's eye-catching Asian projects, including the new Shanghai library east, Shenzhen eastern power plant, Shanghai Expo green valley, Ningbo new library, a large scale ecological mixed use project-Ningbo home of staff , and Ningbo newspaper group headquarters Building, etc.
