SUMMARY: Through questionnaires on hot issues of public concern and discussions by representatives from design, media and architecture and planning industries, the second Design & Life public forum explored the topic "Shenzhen Concert Hall & Shenzhen Library: Concerto of Architecture and Culture". With Hu Qian, Director of ISOZAKI+HuQian Partners, as keynote speaker, the forum also invited Huang Weiwen, Director of Shenzhen Center for Public Art, and Wang Shaopei, a well-known cultural enthusiast, to discuss with the audience, designers and users on the interrelationship between architecture and cultural life as well as on the origin and mission of contemporary public cultural architectures.
