[Fire Station] Designer Teams Visited Aberdeen Fire Station and Qide Fire Station
October 31, 2014 01:53Design Center organized about 40 people from the participating team of research on the standardized design of fire stations and the architectural design competition to visit the Aberdeen Fire Station and Qide Fire Station. August 16, 2014 01:38Originally zoned as pedestrian street, the No.2 Road of Futian CBD was not suitable for pedestrians, and was occupied by automobiles most of the time. Recently, the government of Futian District planned to revitalize it as a pedestrian street. Therefore, we launched a revitalizing workshop by bringing together emerging designers, gathering the creativity of local people from all walks of life this March, and as a result we pooled many innovative design ideas and finalized a design scheme. Shenzhen Public Art Center is expecting open cooperation, integration of resources from multiple channels, and to improve urban space with art design. This is also a testimony to Shenzhen’s status as “City of Design” in terms of public space planning.
