SUMMARY：

Low Carbon is on one hand a lifestyle that is increasingly advocated by people, and on the other hand an important goal of economic development and urban construction. The planning and construction of Shenzhen International Low Carbon City is highly anticipated to become a comprehensive experimental zone for low carbon development in China. Following this anticipation, the city has recently launched an international-oriented low-carbon consultation which involves competitions and parallel researches on finding solutions for low-carbon city, architecture and life. In other words, it aimed to mobilize planners, architects and makers to think about what is low-carbon, and how to build a low-carbon lifestyle from the long-term perspective, while bringing low-carbon development to the attention of the public and media.
