SUMMARY：

In large Chinese cities, problems such as parking difficulty, disordered parking, parking stalls shortage, and unreasonable parking layout arise due to the rapid growth of cars. Shenzhen is no exception. Last year, Shenzhen officially implemented policies that charge roadside parking cars and restrict license plates of motor vehicles. To find solutions to the contradiction between parking supply and demand and to bring up a parking plan that is compatible with the urban transportation system are what should be considered at present. In today’s Cool Chat, we invited personnel from traffic management, planning and implementation, policy development departments and transportation experts to try to propose a solution for the above problems.
