SUMMARY：

What is the core of an excellent urban design? Is it the correct attitude to the venue, or a superb method of spatial arrangement? Will the blank left by urban design bring about a diversified urban development or lead to the loss of control of the construction? How to reconcile the contradiction between design and the needs of owners? This meeting was co-organized by the Binhai Administration of Urban Planning, Land & Resources Commission of Shenzhen Municipality and the Shenzhen Center for Design. Taking the post-competition communication after the Xiasha Urban Design as an opportunity, judges, contestants and owners were invited to discuss the value orientation of the bidding competition in Shenzhen.
