Office of Urban Village (Old Village) Reconstruction, Nanshan District, Shenzhen issued the Application Request of West Coast’s for Urban Renewal Unit Plan to the Nanshan Management Bureau of Urban Planning, Land & Resources Commission of Shenzhen Municipality, as Shenzhen West Coast Fisherman’s Wharf Commercial Co., Ltd. applied for the of “West Coast Urban Renewal Unit”. Commissioned by Nanshan Management Bureau of Urban Planning, Land & Resources Commission of Shenzhen Municipality, Shenzhen Center for Design conducted a pre-research for this renewal unit.

Although there are many fishing vessels in the fishing port, there are fewer fishing products, most of which are traded at the wharf, and the project buildings (market, warehouse) have not played their role. The land owner, Shenzhen West Coast Fisherman's Wharf Commercial Co., Ltd. plans to do high-end commercial development.
