SUMMARY:

To encourage public participationto the improvement of their living environment, Shenzhen Center for Design put forward the project plan “The Last Mile” from Shenzhen Planning Building to Xiangmi Merto Station. The project, relaunched in 2012, was involved with three ways of travelling, namely Biking, Metro and Walking. Therefore, it was named the “BMW” Project.
