This research was on sculptures in Nanshan District, including the following questions:

1. Status quo: What are the main achievements of urban sculpture - public art in Nanshan District? What is the quantity, distribution, and future plan of urban sculptures?

2. Mechanism: How does urban sculpture - public art come into being? Where are the funds from? How are the work plans chosen? How to implement the plans? What is the post evaluation? How to manage and maintain them?

3. Public participation: In what sections can it be embodied?

4. Public Art Fund: If a public art fund system is established, how can it be institutionalized and standardized? The source of funds? The mode of operation?

5. Relationship between location and public space: What public spaces will be considered proper for sculpture - public art works? What role will the works play? What is the process of site selection? How to conduct a quality assessment of the public space environment?

6. Problems or failures?
