SUMMARY:

Global Urban Datafest is a creative activity at multi-national and multi-city level. The theme of this year is “Smart City”. Within two days, teams consisting of makers, urban experts,data analysts, programming/open source hardware enthusiasts worked together to solve urban issues. By interviewing citizens, urban management officers and traffic management department, Shenzhen Center for Design sorted out a lists of “Shenzhen Requirements”, from which participating teams can pick one issue to solve or raise a new urban issue.
