Jiaochangwei was the original location of the military training field of Dapeng ancient city. As the only ecological village in the Dapeng Peninsula that is adjacent to the coastline and has not been developed, Jiaochangwei is also known as the Kulangsu of Shenzhen. Due to its long coastline and soft sand, it is also reputed as one of the eight most beautiful coasts in China. With B&Bs that are chic and of unique styles, Jiaochangwei has a certain reputation in Pearl River Delta region as an emerging tourism project for Shenzhen shore tourism. By virtue of its excellent ecological environment, the government’s legislative restrictions on its ecological development, and the complete preservation of the historical and cultural site Roc City, the east coast area of Shenzhen has become an invaluable environmental treasure. With the increasing number of spontaneous coastal tourism projects in recent years, a rare, bottom-up natural growth and upgrading area of tourism and leisure has gradually formed in the region. However, accompanied by the prosperity of coastal leisure tourism in summer, of the shortage of infrastructures are becoming more and more obvious. For example, the roads of ordinary villages, municipal administration and public service facilities are unable to meet the increasing tourism demand. Therefore, there is an urgent need in combining the external and internal force to stimulate the healthy, orderly development and upgrading of the village.
