This seminar centered on the sustainable development path for Jiaoweichang B&Bs, and discussed issues of how to solve the systemic problems such as pollution and explore local cultural characteristics after the introduction of architect’s. This was an event with historical significance and value from bottom up. It took owners of the B&Bs as main body and invited many architects. Huang Weiwen believed that, seawater, blue sky and beaches, together with the existing houses, space, environment and trees, as well as local building materials, consisted the characteristics of the overall space and were important elements of Jiaoweichang. Problems such as how to balance these resources and achieve environmental sustainability should be solved on consensus.
