SUMMARY:

The seminar of conceptual plans on transforming the current Universiade Torch Tower into a permanent memorial plaza was jointly organized by Office of Urban Design, Urban Planning, Land & Resources Commission of Shenzhen Municipality, Shenzhen Design Center and Bei Linyuan Landscape and Architecture Planning and Design Co.,Ltd. Various representatives from design firms and citizens exchanged opinions on the two proposed plans and utilization of the land where the Torch Tower was located.
