SUMMARY:

The research results show that Shenzhen citizens’ needs for “the last-mile transportation after the metro” include accessibility(means of transport), safety(crossings, road surface evenness), identifiability(signage system), functionality(service and recreation infrastructure), and fun(space quality). By sorting out the results, we hope the “last-mile” problem can draw the attention of metro passengers, who can vote to choose the worst metro stations for further design and improvement.
