SUMMARY:

Commissioned by the government of Guangming New District of Shenzhen, Shenzhen Center for Design conducts a research on the 10-year development of the district. Themed “10 Years of Guangming”, the research reviews the district's past experience of urban planning and design and summarizes its development course in the past ten years. At the same time, the research provides basis for decisions of future planning by referring to the 13th Five-Year Plan. This article displays the preliminary results of the research.
